Review About Whirlpool LDR3822PQ White 120V Electric Dryer

Review : Whirlpool LDR3822PQ Compact Dryer
I bought this dryer to go along with my Haier HLP23E portable washing machine. I have currently owned it for only about a week, but it has performed well. Admittedly, I did not purchase it from Amazon, but I bought it used from Rent-A-Center for $150. The only problem with it so far is a constant clicking sound while it is running, but that may be because it is used. I haven't tried to open the case yet to see if it may be something in the baffles. The dryer has a place to hook up an exhaust hose, but I do not use it, and have had no problems not doing so. It makes the room only a little more warm, but not too noticeable. Below is a list of pros and cons about the dryer:

CONS -

More of warnings, they do not take away from rating

* HEAVY - It's not something you can just pick up and carry in the house, or up the steps to apartment in my case.
* SMELL - Again, probably because mine was used, but may have been sitting in the store for a while. There...
Review : Fantastic little dryer !

I just purchased this exact model from my local Rent A Center for 150.00 This dryer is compact and well built. It runs on standard household current. No 220 line needed to operate this dryer.

The dryer functions well for a lower voltage portable dryer. My clothes come out dry and unwrinkled. The machine has simple easy to understand controls. It operates quietly and efficiently. The lint trap is easily detached for cleaning.

Overall, a great little dryer that can fit in a tight space.

Review : Dries like a full sized unit, and has a variety of settings
I bought one of these used about a year and half ago, and do about 2 to 3 loads of laundry per week.

The dryer dries clothes well. It has a timed dry, and a "more dry" "less dry" dial setting that seems to involve moisture detection. When I set to "more dry", clothes come out dry and the amount of time it runs is different depending on what I am drying.

The dryer is not too noisy. I use it on an open outdoor porch, so that the exhaust and heated air will not vent into my apartment. The only time it has been noisy is when my husband washed three loads of laundry separately, and then tried to dry them at the same time. The squeaking noise was the sound of him abusing the belt on the machine. I discovered what he was doing when I investigated why my loads dried in an hour, but his was taking 8 hours. So, don't be stupid and try to overload the machine, and it won't be noisy.

The biggest problem with the Whirlpool portable dryer is that the lint...
