Review : Yes! I love this set up! This set is a cut above the previous renditions...and I couldn't be happier.
I bought these with the stands--I am 5'9" and my boyfriend is 6'2"...

I have an upstairs laundry room. This requires a pan and drain. The pan lip is 3" high, and makes the drawer of the stand unusable. This is a big bummer and poor design, especially given that this washer is designed with vibration reduction technology for upstairs laundry rooms.

That said, this washer cleans your clothes like NOTHING else. I am amazed. I had no clue how dingy our clothing was! It is fast, efficient, (water and gas bills are super low), and let's face it--these units look stellar in the laundry room.

The dryer is quick, but does put off some heat--so I run the ceiling vent fan while it's running. This keeps the house from warming up from the dryer.

Both units are quiet, and don't interfere with our sleep, if I'm running it at night.

The "done" chimes are a melody, so if your brain is like mine, and ignores simple beeps,...
Review : Filter is a Floodgate

Just a note about the filter that you are supposed to clean once a month: have a big towel handy. An astonishing amount of water runs out when you unscrew the filter, and poor design makes it run right into the drawer stand below it. I keep extension cords, adapters, and timers in there and they were swimming. So you're mopping up water with one hand and holding a slimy filter in the other. Big fun. So open the drawer first, position the towel (folded into several thicknesses) under the filter hatch, then unscrew the filter. Now sit there and catch water for 3 minutes. Other than that, this washer runs fine. There is no smelly washer problem with this model, and none of my fellow front loader users believe me when I tell them that!

Review : Nice units but poor reliability.
Samsung top of the line product, falls short of expectations.

Indeed both washer and dryer from Samsung are beautiful units and a wonder as long as they work.!
We purchased these units in September of 2014.

After less 6 weeks of use the dryer has faulted, and will not run. The dryer unit will start for about 5 seconds but stops with the electronic timer continuing to count down. We have tried To trouble shoot the problem every way we can, but unfortunately this model has very little service history record available. You would think something like this is easy to fix.? Not so with the complicated electronics and circuitry in unit!

We hope this is an isolated case and we may have a "lemon". However we are hearing that other customers who
may have brought This product recently may have had similar issues.

Android based samsung care app identifies this problem as an open door error. However technicians have looked into this...
