Review : Excellent little machine!

Excellent little washing machine. Shipping was really fast, got it in one day by fedex. It took me a few tries to connect the water hose but once I got it I was very satisfied. I did a few loads, it fits about two yoga pants, two shirts and some socks and underwear at once. I am very happy with the purchase. Living in an apartment with small children and going to the laundromat few times a week is a real hassle. With this machine I can wash a small load every night and not have to drag my kids in the cold. It is pretty quiet compared to the haier which I had a few years ago. I can fit it under my table and no one will know I have it. Upon request the seller made the box discreet so when the fedex guy delivered it no one knew what it was. Thank you laundry alternative.

Review : Get something else or wait for the next version... maybe.
Where to start... if you don't want to read all the details, save yourself some headache and go with a different unit (the Haier unit looks good and as people have said on the reviews of that product- buy it locally so you can return it or get support...).

First off, this is our 3rd product from Laundry Alternative - we tried the WonderWash and Spin Dryer Jr (I'll try to post reviews of those products separately, but suffice it to say both worked far better than this unit). The reason we tried this unit is because we have a new baby and live on a boat and are cloth diapering so the wonder wash was just too time consuming.

I'll start with the good parts - yes it actually cleans clothes, and dirty diapers fairly well (better than we expected and probably as well as most other typical / normal washing machines I've used, despite only being able to use cold water per the manual). The spin cycle does slightly better than a typical washing machine but nothing like a...

Just have this for a week. So will write more as I go.

Setup: Well there is not much to talk about other than the leak issue the other comment mentioned( You either need to use a tool to tighten the hose or remove that thick foam washer like me as I did not want to use a wrench). You can setup to get the out let on either left or right side (it comes out of right as default) the outlet is long enough (3+ feet) but I wish they included an extension hose just in case the tube is not near by.

normal :30 min: 1 wash + 2 rinse + 1 spin cycles
rinse: 18 min : 2 rinse + 1 spin cycles
spin: 5 min : 1 spin cycle
quick: 18 min: 1 wash + 1 rinse + 1 spin cycles

Experience:
The washer is relatively quite. The pulsator action spins the a disc at the bottom spinning in opposite directions every 3 secs, this works OK if you keep the load low but if you fill up it twists the clothes...
