Review : Very Quiet System and it Cleans.
Researched for months between Samsung and LG. I decided on the LG Turbo Series because capacity, the steam option and I've always have good luck with LG products. My wife loves the Graphite color. After almost a month, I noticed my clothes smell fresher. It's faster than our previous 5 year old basic top loader and it's gentle on the laundry. The dryer is quick and my clothes come out just right every time. The dryer's setting to periodically tumble clothes for after drying is a big help to prevent wrinkles if you're unable to take the clothes out right away. They were easy to install and I saved a lot of money buying here vs buying at Home Depot or Lowes.I just needed an extra hand lifting the washer and dryer onto the pedestals. There was a guy posting negative reviews all over the internet about how his washer door opened and water went all over the floor but I didn't let it scare me away. Review : Excellent purchase in every respect, so far.
First, let me say that I rarely write a review unless the purchase/product is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. Happily, this purchase falls in the "exceptionally good" category. So, let me run down the reasons that I have been pleased so far with this purchase:
1. Shipping speed. We ordered this set around noon on a Tuesday. Within an hour or so, I received the shipping confirmation. The next day, Wednesday, I received a call from the trucking company to set up a delivery time for the following day, Thursday. The washer/dryer set was delivered before noon on Thursday. That totally blew me away!
2. Packaging. The washer, dryer and two pedestals were, as I expected, packaged separately. What I didn't expect was the quality of the engineered packaging. It was pretty amazing and, as a result, these heavy units came out of the packaging completely unscathed.
3. Installation instructions. They were clear, fairly concise, and not...
