These generic brand non-stick drying sheets work very well. We have both the Excalibur brand as-well-as these. The Excalibur's are thicker than these. After we use our drying sheets, we wipe them off to "clean" them. As the generic brand is thinner than the Excalibur sheets, you have to wipe carefully so they don't wad.

We do have the impression that the more expensive Excalibur sheets will last longer; however, if you are careful when you clean the generic brand sheets they should last quite awhile.

This is our 2nd year using the generic sheets along with our Excalibur ones (we have a 9-tray Excalibur dryer). We are also the type of people who produce all of our own produce and store it for the winter. In other words, our dehydrator goes 24/7 at harvest time. I know when I read reviews, I often look to how frequently an item is used. These are used daily through harvest season.

Review : Fantastic---and less than at Excalibur

My husband managed to score a used Excalibur dehydrator, but it did not come with any fruit leather sheets---even though it came with every imagineable how-to and cook book sold on the site. These non-official-brand sheets work well and are well worth getting.

These fit my Excalibur dehydrator trays perfectly. They're slightly thinner than the Excalibur sheets, but they release food just as well. Lots of apple-sauce "leather" and other wet things have been dehydrated on these with no troubles whatsoever.
