Review : Very, very, very BAD customer service!

Even one spends $2700 for their hugely overpriced washer and dryer, Bosch charges restocking fee for returning a part that costs $30. Customer service is rude and not helpful. Germans should learn how to treat their customers. I will never buy anything from Bosch again.

I love the Bosch Ascenta washer, and expect it to last much longer due to it's variable frequency direct drive coupling between motor and drum. The Germans are pioneers in this area...

Review : hookup caveat

Note: did not purchase washer. Wanted to buy Bosch washer and different dryer (did not want condensing dryer due to some comments about long dry times and venting is not an issue for me) but the Bosch washer must plug into a Bosch dryer. The plug is proprietory and not changeable according to Bosch and cannot plug in wall. So if you get the matching dryer you're fine. I ended up with a compact GE pair.
